How Deck Garden collects, uses, and protects your information across our website and our iOS & Android app.
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Deck Garden (“Deck Garden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the deckgarden.app website and the Deck Garden mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
We collect information you give us directly, including:
When you use the Service we may collect limited technical data, such as your device type, app version, general usage events, and approximate region, to keep the Service working, fix problems, and understand which features are used. Marketplace listings record aggregate metrics such as views, downloads, purchases, and subscriptions for the relevant creator's dashboard.
Purchases and subscriptions in the app are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. We receive purchase confirmations and receipts needed to grant entitlements, calculate creator earnings, and handle refunds. Creator payouts are processed through PayPal; the payout details you provide are shared with PayPal to send your earnings.
If you enable card alerts or subscribe to a creator's drops, we use device push services (Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including cloud storage and content delivery (for hosting deck files and images), email delivery, push-notification providers, and payment/payout processors named above. These providers process data only to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: (a) with the service providers described above; (b) as needed to publish a creator's public listing (such as the deck's author name and description); (c) to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users and the public; and (d) in connection with a business transfer, where this policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes — for example, retaining transaction and earnings records as required by tax and accounting rules. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to retain.
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage notifications on your device, and you can request other changes by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Creators must be at least 18 to publish a deck. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
